How we use the Google Ads API
MisarSEO uses the Google Ads API solely as a keyword-research data source. This is a read-only, reporting use case — we do not run advertising campaigns through the API.
When a MisarSEO user researches keywords, we query the Google Ads API Keyword Plan services (Keyword Planner — keyword ideas and historical metrics) using our own single Google Ads manager account. We retrieve planning metrics for the keywords the user is researching and display them inside MisarSEO.
Data we read from the API
- Average monthly search volume for a keyword
- Competition level and competition index
- Top-of-page bid / cost-per-click ranges
- Keyword ideas and related-term suggestions
What we do
- Read Keyword Planner metrics for SEO keyword research
- Use our own Google Ads account as the data source
- Surface volume, CPC and competition to the user
What we do not do
- Create, edit, or manage ad campaigns or ads
- Spend advertising budget or place bids
- Manage other advertisers' Google Ads accounts
- Resell or redistribute raw Google Ads API data
